China has the one of the fastest aging populations, it is already declining. A declining population will likely lead to economic stagnation. America on the other hand, is able to take immigrants from third world countries like india and mexico to keep their population young and further cement its world wide political power as long xenophobic leaders like DRUMP don't keep wining.
