Karl Marx was the first contradiction of his own philosophy.
He condemned exploitation while living off Engels’ money for decades and refusing steady work.
He preached moral critique of capitalism while fathering a child with his family’s maid, then having Engels claim the child to avoid scandal. The maid was abandoned. The child erased.
His wife Jenny endured years of poverty, illness, and instability while he wrote about human liberation.
This wasn’t theory failing in practice. It failed at home first.
Two of his daughters died by suicide. Eleanor Marx, his closest intellectual ally, killed herself after years of ideological devotion bound up with personal despair. Laura Marx and her husband ended their lives together, framing it as a rational decision before becoming “burdens.”
This matters because Marxism didn’t just collapse historically. It collapsed personally.
The man who promised emancipation couldn’t sustain a family without charity, couldn’t take responsibility for his own actions, and left behind dependence, denial, and despair.

Religion, by its traditional definition (Religare: to bind), is Saturnine. It provides the walls, the law, and the "unfiltered" consequences of reality.
When the "Anti-Religionist" speaks, they claim to be breaking Saturn's chains. They use Mercurial language (logic, progress, "freedom") to dissolve the old boundaries.
They immediately build a new set of walls. Every "anti-religion" movement (be it political, corporate, or "wellness" focused) creates its own:
Dogma: Unquestionable "scientific" or "social" truths.
Ritual: Daily habits, apps, or linguistic "taboos."
Priesthood: The "Experts," "Influencers," or "Thought Leaders."
Every religion requires a "Sun"—a central point of vitality and worship.
The Old System: A deity or a transcendent law.
The New System: Usually the Ego or the State. By selling you a "non-religion," they are moving the center of the universe from a Jovial (Justice/God) or Saturnine (Tradition) point to a Solar point that they control. It is a "hostile takeover" of the human need for structure.
