1. When a you commit rape, you could potentially get killed by the woman or her sex partners. In addition to that, you live in a tight knit community, so it's likely that the woman could accuse you of rape and get you exiled from the community or executed in revenge. She could either use another man to kick you out, form a group with many women, or attack you while you are vulnerable (I.E. poison, murder, etcetra). If you die and she dosen't get pregnant, then you just wasted your life. This is likely to happen because women evolved to conceal their ovulation, meaning that you need to have sex with a woman multiple times before she gets pregnant.
2. When a you commit rape, you are unable to care for your children. Meaning that your offspring wouldn't get as much of your support as they would have if you were not a rapist.
3. Even if the the woman gets pregnant, she would most likely kill or neglect your infant child as that was common throughout most of human history, and she wouldn't want to waste time with a rape baby as you would likely be of low genetic quality (since she didn't want to have sex with you)
4. Finally, you could help pass on your genes by caring for the offspring of your siblings, if you are dead you cannot do this. Meaning that if no woman wanted to have sex with you, it would be more advantageous from an evolutionary perspective to care for the children of your brothers and sisters rather than risk dying for the chance of having a kid of your own.
